Clayton County Medical Examiner’s Office

The Clayton County Medical Examiner’s Office (CCME) is getting its own office.  To increase the health and safety of the public while minimizing the potential to exposure to infectious diseases, the CCME will be moving into their own facilities.  These facilities will include office space, designated space for lab equipment, backup generator examination rooms, a discreet offloading dock, and cold storage for the departed. 

The CCME currently works out of available space at the Clayton County Police department.   This project is expected to break ground in March 2022.
