District Attorney’s Office to Reduce Backlog

The Clayton County District Attorney (DA)’s Office endeavors are to reduce the case backlogs caused as a result of COVID-19.   To this end, the DA’s office will hire five additional staff members. These staff members will aid in a number of tasks.  Increasing the number of cases that are completely processed and ready for trial as well as ensuring that public information is readily available regarding cases in backlog is a top priority.
